Jon Faber is CEO of Envoy B2B, where he helps shape the company’s vision and guide brands toward the future of wholesale in strategic, measured ways. With a background spanning growth, operations, digital strategy, customer experience, and commercial execution, he is especially focused on pushing the wholesale B2B landscape forward through platform innovation, stronger digital experiences, and high-value content for forward-thinking footwear and apparel brands.
Outside of work, he is drawn to travel, remote places, environmental conservation, small business development, and discovering new music.
Tom Rau is VP of Revenue at Envoy B2B, where he leads sales and marketing and works closely with brands on B2B strategy, systems, and purchasing decisions. With a background across sales leadership, customer success, ERP, fintech, CRM, and B2B ecommerce, he naturally gravitates toward the operational side of business and the messy work of making things run better.
Off the clock, he’s usually fishing, golfing, or backpacking, which has made him the kind of person who pays close attention to the products he buys and gets genuinely curious about how the brands behind them actually work.
Most brand stories focus on the beginning. The idea, the launch, the founder journey. Those stories are great. But once a brand grows, the work shifts. Operators step in and suddenly the job becomes a lot more complicated. ERP rollouts, wholesale systems, inventory planning, 3PL relationships, shipping problems, sales team coordination. None of it is glamorous, but it’s the work that actually keeps a brand running.
Between the Drops is a place to talk about that work. We bring on operators from both brands and retailers to share real experiences from the trenches. The wins, the mistakes, and the lessons they picked up along the way. If you’ve ever felt like you’re figuring all of this out in real time, you’re not alone. This podcast is meant to be a place where operators can learn from each other and get a little better every season.
